Yellow Cane Palm

Location in MGP:

Common Name: Yellow Cane Palm

Scientific Name: Dypsis lutescens

Points of Interest:

To the untrained eye, Yellow Cane Palms are sometimes mistaken as sugar cane due to their multiple cane-like stems. They are generally used as indoor plants, but can also be found in parks and gardens as they are suitable to grow in the sun or shade.
Their fronds are quite commonly used by florists in flower arrangements.
