Washington Palms are sun-loving ornamental plants which can grow to heights of over 30m. 

Although they are also salt resistant and grow rapidly, due to their height, these palms are not appropriate for planting in small gardens or restricted areas. They do best in wide open areas such as parks and beaches, or along major roads.
